Starseeds Sprouting On Planet Earth?

As an amateur armchair cultural anthropologist, I approach the topic of starbeings, also known as starseeds, with some trepidation. I suspect that I also bring a greater degree of detachment to the subject than might be found among both opponents and proponents of this worldview. Or should I say worldsview?

I do not question the sincerity or sanity of people who claim to starbeings, but I am leery lest some of these self-proclaimed "higher beings" get so involved with spiritual one upmanship that they get caught in the clutches of ego and self-delusion.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. -Luke 6:43-44, King James Bible

That caveat aside, I find the subject of starbeings fascinating and worthwhile. Why? Because, as a species, I think it is healthy and desirable for us to think outside the box and explore different ways of seeing and understanding our place--and our history-- in the universe.

I also feel it should be possible to explore the subject of starbeings with a certain lightness of being; without acrimony, name calling, shaming, ridicule, rage or condescension. Exploration can be a lot of fun. "Playing" or "dancing" with unfamiliar ideas and concepts can be very stimulating and productive.

So, without being stultifyingly earnest or arrogantly convinced that I have a personal monopoly on all knowingness (a.k.a. omniscience), I would like to invite you join me in this issue of the MOWR Newsletter in exploring possibly unfamiliar realms of inner and outer space. Don't be in a hurry to judge, accept or reject what you encounter. Just dance with it.

What or Who are Starseeds?

Here is a definiton of starseeds by Paul McCarthy:

Starseeds are beings that have experienced life elsewhere in the Universe on other planets and in non-physical dimensions. They have come to earth to help and serve others as well as the planet herself. They very often have gifts to share with others with healing, channeling and spiritual education. In addition they tend to have the following characteristics: A deep interest in spirituality; the ability to rapidly spiritually grow when needed as if they have done this before; feel as if earth is not their true home; feel drawn to space, the stars and science fiction; tend to be artistic, sensitive and have an expanded consciousness; can have a difficult and challenging life.

Some Seed Thoughts

In the course of my extensive reading re: extraterrestrials, ufos, walk-ins, wanderers, starseeds, galactic history, Native American mythology and more.... I have come away with the perception that all humans were seeded on earth by beings that could be described as extraterrestrials, cosmic cousins or ancestor beings.

I have also formed the perception that planet earth's human population has been genetically created, infiltrated and manipulated in a wide variety of ways by a wide variety of beings from dimensions and planets other than earth. We're talking good guys, bad guys and neutral guys.

Some of us have spent more time on earth than others (over many incarnations) and some of us have spent more time in other galaxies or dimensions than on earth. The latter are the humans more likely to be viewed as --and to experience themselves as-- starseeds.
